Comfort Measures in Labor

This is a class for pregnant women and their partners who have already taken a birthing class but would like to spend more time preparing for an unmedicated birth. Couples will learn, and have time to practice a variety of comfort techniques not covered in our Great Expectations class. In addition, partners will learn added strategies to be a more effective "coach". Couples taking this class should have taken a Great Expectations class, or have a strong knowledge of the stages of labor.

Expectant parents delivering at Northwestern Memorial Hospital are required to have a Pediatrician for their newborn(s) prior to delivery. Please call Physician Referral at 312-926-8400 and one of our Health Consultants will assist you with referrals to Pediatricians.
