Heart Transplant and VAD Support Group
The Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) support group is open to all Northwestern Memorial Hospital heart transplant and VAD candidates and recipients. Monthly topics vary and may include areas such as medical management after transplant, infection risks, or stress management. The second half of each meeting allows participants to share experiences, ask questions, and discuss their concerns in a supportive environment.
Friends and family members are welcome.
This group meets on the second Thursday of each month (no meeting in July).
