Liver Transplant Support Group
The Liver Transplant Support Group is open to all Northwestern Memorial Hospital pre- and post-liver transplant patients. This group offers an excellent opportunity to meet with other recipients who are awaiting a liver transplant, meet with those who have already received a transplant as well as learn more about liver disease and what you can do to help yourself. The group allows patients the opportunity to express their feelings, fears and concerns in a safe environment in addition to learning alternative methods of coping.
Attendance is encouraged at one or all of the sessions; friends and family are welcome.
The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month (no meetings during summer months)
