Northwestern Parkinson's Disease Support Group
Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Parkinson's Disease Support Group offeres people the opportunity to share experiences, learn about all aspects of their condition, meet new people, and receive support and understanding.
The support group, which is part of the Northwestern Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center is free and offers lunch, discussions, and informal social time. Parking is provided free of charge in the Northwestern Memorial Hospital parking garage.
The format of the group is: exercise, cargiver discussion group, Parkinson's discussion group, and presentations by guest speakers, as well as open-ended discussion and sharing.
Family members, visitors and guests are always welcome.
This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month.
