This class is for those interested in learning CPR and anti-choking techniques for newborns and children but do not need a certification. This class is taught in a relaxed, small-group setting with lots of hands-on practice. All instructors are certified by the American Heart Association. This class is recommended for pregnant couples, new parents, nannies, grandparents, baby-sitters, and other child-care providers. It is also great for those with toddlers who have not taken a CPR course in a while. Car seat and home safety information will be provided. If you are unable to attend your class, please call at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or to receive a class refund. This will allow your seat to be made available to another participant. Bring your confirmation email with you; you may be asked to present it at check-in. PLEASE NOTE: WHEN REGISTERING, 1 REGISTRATION REFERS TO 1 COUPLE, NOT 1 PERSON.
Expectant parents delivering at Northwestern Memorial Hospital are required to have a Pediatrician for their newborn(s) prior to delivery.
Please call Physician Referral at 312-926-8400 and one of our Health Consultants will assist you with referrals to Pediatricians.
