OCIM Guided Mindful Meditation -
This is a six-week class designed to help manage stress and cultivate a sense of well-being based in the practice of “Mindful Meditation”. The class will explore mind and body awareness techniques for coping with physical and psychological symptoms of stress.
Mindfulness is paying attention to present moment experience with open curiosity and a willingness to be with what is. Mindfulness-based practices have been shown to deepen concentration, assist in coping with stress and pain, and equip individuals with the capacity to address and recover from stressful situations more rapidly.
The class is appropriate for people with no experience in meditation as well as those who have had some prior experience and want to develop their practice. Come experience for yourself the positive benefits of meditation.
